PBMF – 2021

We are sad to announce that we must postpone the 5th Pueblos Blancos Music Festival until next summer. Our target dates are July 28-31, 2022.

We were hoping to do some music this year; all the international musicians from other countries would have been vaccinated, but the situation is very fluid & restrictions are different from country to country, province to province, and village to village; so it is difficult to predict what restrictions will be in place for international visiting musicians.

This is a cultural event that is very different from traditional musical festivals. The amazing musicians who attend, volunteer their time, to share their music with the people of the participating villages and we do not want to risk them paying for their travel and then be restricted & lose their travel expenses. In many cases, the musicians & the townspeople have become like family, so it pains us to not share this musical fiesta with our family this year, but we will be back in the summer of 2022!
